Our newly renovated space on Rhode Island Avenue NE has a long history with neighborhood-serving businesses, including a dry cleaner and most recently a daycare center. We identified the space in 2015 as an ideal location for 5 Points. Renovations began in the spring of 2016 with the support of SB Works, Great Streets, and Rhode Island Ave NE Main Street.
The vision for a modular, flexible space was brought to life by HGA Architects and Engineers. The space brings together the latest in energy efficiency with a commitment to preserving its historic integrity. Enjoy soft LED lighting and split-system air conditioning whether you’re working among the exposed bricks or under the restored skylights. The project has been truly local with general contracting by Lofft Construction, branding by Fairswell, and signage by Schwa Design Group—plus lots of volunteer hours from neighbors.
From space design to memberships, 5 Points represents the best of DC’s local small business economy hard at work.
